MEET OUR AMAZING FOUNDER
LISA HOOD
Founder / CEO / Care Specialist
For the past 10 years, founder, Lisa has been helping her own senior mother and aunt as they navigate their own issues around ageing at home and as they transitioned to their long term care homes. Working with Fraser Health staff to transition her mother, she recognized there is a need for caring companion services that help seniors to remain independent, happy, healthy, safe and in their own home environments as long as possible.
She then chose to follow her dream of improving the quality of life for those with needs, and started Friendly Neighbour.

A member of the Age-Friendly Business Academy, and awarded the designation of Certified Professional Consultant on Aging, Lisa and Friendly Neighbour are dedicated to high quality, ethical services, specifically for the senior community. ​
She is on a mission to make seniors' lives more comfortable and joyful through cost effective and caring services.
