Friendly Neighbour will ensure your loved ones are staying connected to their community through regular trips to their local shops, the community centre or just going for a stroll around the block.
​It is our pleasure to escort our seniors to help with shopping, errands and to visit friends and family. Ride services for seniors are not always readily available and we want to ensure your life is as stress-free as possible. Often, it can be a challenge to navigate local public transportation and it often isn't a safe option for many seniors. Let us provide safe, secure transportation instead.

Not only are we available to take the senior to an event or destination, but we can accompany them during the event as well if a family member is unavailable.
​
Our care specialists can also can be a great help in dealing with managing prescriptions, mail or other items that require pickup or delivery.

We can also accompany them during the appointment on your behalf and report back on what was discussed or determined. We respect our seniors privacy and as such, we must recieve prior written approval (by email) to accompany them into the appointment.

Local road trips to visit their favourite park, or a local lake to see the ducks, or into the mountains for a drive through the forest. Many times a car trip out in the fresh air and a bit of sunshine is all they need to lift their spirits.
